Job Summary
Hiring a Journeyman Millwright for maintaining and repairing machinery in manufacturing settings. Must have relevant apprenticeship or certification, strong mechanical skills, and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Journeyman Certification As a Millwright
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to industrial machinery
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and climbing
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications in welding, machining, or industrial maintenance
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Experience with specific types of machinery or equipment relevant to the industry
