Job Summary
Assist in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs, diagnose issues on production equipment, and install or dismantle machinery using blueprints and schematics. Collaborate with engineering, operations support, and product development teams to ensure proper equipment function, while developing and documenting procedures for new jobs or rebuilds. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment, and support safety, culture, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work independently or as part of a team during the 3rd shift from 7:30pm to 5:00am.
Required Qualifications
- Valid chauffeur's license
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- 1+ years of machine repair or industrial maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of: Hydraulics, pneumatics, Mechanical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Perform basic welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Work at heights and in outdoor/industrial environments
