Job Summary
Lead and supervise millwrights in dismantling, moving, assembling, and installing industrial machinery; oversee installation of machinery, conveyor systems, pulleys, mechanical clutches, gear boxes, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems; ensure safety and task progress via JHA's, pre-task plans, and inspections; read blueprints and schematics, perform precise alignment and leveling of components; train and develop apprentices and journeymen; maintain organized job sites and communicate scope changes or safety concerns to the project team; demonstrate proficiency in reading and following procedures, monitoring daily progress with written updates and site photos.
Required Qualifications
- Rigger 2 certified and qualified
- Shaft alignment
- Stick (Arc) welding
- Forming & grouting machine bases
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
- Ability to read, interpret and follow procedures including monitoring and reporting daily work progress through written summaries and job site pictures
- Ability to work effectively with all personality types
- Self-directed and can work independently
