Job Summary
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Read diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to determine procedures; operate rigging equipment to place heavy machinery and parts with precision; align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect belts to tight tolerances; align and test equipment and adjust as needed; perform predictive/operational maintenance to keep equipment efficient; repair or replace defective parts; service hydraulic and pneumatic systems; weld and fabricate as required; maintain an inventory of replacement parts and order new parts; benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k with company match, paid holidays, PTO, and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright, Field Mechanic or similar role in an industrial setting
- Ability to travel to job sites and commute to the shop
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Proficiency with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, levels, and laser alignment equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights when necessary
