Job Summary
Millwright position based in Geraldton, Ontario, on a 14 on/14 off rotation. Responsibilities include performing preventative/predictive maintenance, repairing, servicing and rebuilding mining-related equipment, developing and adhering to maintenance schedules, installing/modifying/repairing machinery and stationary equipment, troubleshooting production issues, conducting operational equipment checks, performing hot work (cutting/welding), maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and collaborating with planning and shop personnel to meet maintenance requirements. Must be capable of working independently or as part of a team with strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and at heights, with emphasis on safety and environmental protection. Certifications required include Journeyperson trade certificate as Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Industrial Mechanic/Millwright. Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson trade certificate as Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Industrial Mechanic/Millwright
- 5+ years of relevant professional work experience, including 2 years of experience in a mine setting
- Dual trade designation/certification is considered an asset
