Millwright/Electr (Certified)

Licensed Industrial Maintenance Millwright 433A needed at Smurfit Westrock in Guelph to join the maintenance team. Will troubleshoot plant equipment, determine maintenance requirements, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. Respond to equipment, facility, and building breakdowns; assess temporary vs. permanent fixes based on production needs. Maintain preventative maintenance programs and regular checks/lubrication, operate boiler systems/heating/steam/energy supply, assist with minor electrical repairs, and help install plant equipment. Knowledge of appropriate fits for various services (e.g., antifriction bearings) and the ability to handle heavy equipment safely are required. Contribute to the plant occupational health and safety program and participate in ongoing training. Schedule involves 10-hour shifts on a rotating basis (Mon-Thu, with day and night options).
