Job Summary
Conduct routine daily maintenance on machines, installing, inspecting, and repairing mechanical equipment while collaborating with other trades. Actively participate in safety culture through DATS conversations, observations, and training, utilizing SDS for chemical safety protocols. Assist in shutdown and strategic capital project planning, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness. Mentor Millwright apprentices and support leadership in training employees, maintaining proper documentation and high housekeeping standards. Engage in the OH&S Committee and complete Plant Operator Development Program requirements. Requires Red Seal certification and 5+ years in heavy industry. Hourly wage $50.69 in Lavington, BC.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Certified Millwright
- 5+ years in heavy industry
- Valid Driver's license
- Independent worker

- Good mechanical aptitude
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years in heavy industry (pellet, particle board, or fibre board preferred)
- Welding and fabrication experience

- Proficient in work order systems
