Job Summary
Conduct routine daily maintenance on machines to uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards, installing, inspecting, and repairing mechanical equipment while collaborating with other trades. Actively participate in Drax Safety culture through DATS conversations, observations, and training, utilizing SDS for chemical safety and engaging in the OH&S Committee. Assist in shutdown and strategic capital project planning and execution, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness. Mentor Millwright Apprentices in professional development and champion the Drax Safety Program. Requires Red Seal certification, 5+ years in heavy industry, and a valid driver's license. Located in Lavington, BC, with an hourly wage of $50.69.
