Job Summary
Conduct routine daily maintenance on machines, installing, inspecting, and repairing mechanical equipment to uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards. Actively participate in safety culture through DATS conversations, observations, and training while utilizing SDS for chemical safety. Assist in shutdown and strategic capital project planning, ensuring timeliness and safety. Mentor Millwright apprentices and support leadership in training employees, ensuring proper documentation and competence. Engage in the OH&S Committee and maintain high housekeeping standards. Requires Red Seal certification, 5+ years in heavy industry, and a valid driver's license. Hourly wage of $50.69 in Lavington, BC.
