Job Summary
Conduct routine daily maintenance on machines, installing, inspecting, and repairing mechanical equipment while collaborating with other trades. Actively participate in safety culture through DATS conversations, observations, and training, utilizing SDS for chemical safety and maintaining high housekeeping standards. Assist in shutdown and strategic capital project planning, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness. Mentor Millwright apprentices in professional development and champion the Drax Safety Program. Engage in the OH&S Committee and communicate clearly on company radios. Requires Red Seal certification, 5+ years in heavy industry, and a valid driver's license. Hourly wage $50.69 in Lavington, BC.
