Job Summary
Assist with plant-related repairs and perform routine preventative maintenance tasks. Execute all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations while utilizing knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools. Manage time effectively to complete necessary repairs and other duties as assigned. Maintain a valid driver's license for plant travel. Work in a plant environment with exposure to sawdust, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. Requires one to two years of general maintenance experience and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of maintenance functions
- Knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools
- Time management skills
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 2 years' general maintenance experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
