Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and improve precast concrete production equipment while troubleshooting breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance. Complete routine inspections, welding, fabrication, and general maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and keep operations moving. Find practical solutions to mechanical challenges and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Read schematics, work at heights with proper safety equipment, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced setting. Available for an on-call rotation schedule including Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice
- Valid Class 5 license, acceptable abstract and reliable transportation
- Available to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- Available to join an on-call rotation schedule for Saturdays
- Physically able to perform demanding work for extended periods
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet all day
- Ability to read various schematics
- Comfortable working at heights with proper safety equipment
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Desired Qualifications
- Previous millwright, maintenance, or industrial manufacturing experience
- Mill and lathe experience
