Job Summary
Fix breakdowns and maintain machinery by performing preventative maintenance on cylinders, belts, conveyors, chains, motors, and valves. Dismantle, move, and install equipment while reading blueprints to determine work procedures. Construct foundations, align machines, and assemble shafting using welding, carpentry, bolting, and riveting as needed. Keep the work environment clean and safe while troubleshooting mechanical issues. Full-time swing shift with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and work order systems
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, manuals, and blueprints
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and move machinery
- Must be available for Full-time swing shift (40+ hours), overtime as needed
