Job Summary
Millwrights inspect, repair, and reassemble paper machine rolls in an industrial environment. Duties include setting up, disassembling/reassembling, inspecting, and repairing rolls; operating mechanical tooling (drills, taps, pullers, bearing heaters, presses, hydraulic test units); using micrometers to measure diameters; and operating overhead cranes (60- and 100-ton capacity). Welding experience is desired. Emphasizes safety and quality, with the ability to work independently or in a team and to handle housekeeping duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred but not required if the experience level determined by Voith management offsets this requirement
