Job Summary
The Millwork Operation Shop Journeyman is responsible for effective fabrication techniques within the Millwork department, utilizing AWI standards to fabricate casework and architectural woodwork. The role requires reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications, maintaining effective communication and teamwork, and the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds. Candidates must have four years of apprenticeship or relevant experience and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of apprenticeship training and/or experience in commercial casework and millwork industry fabrication and installation methods
- Strong ability to work under deadlines
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Complete knowledge of AWI standards
- Ability and willingness to gain basic computer skills
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment screen
- Must have a current and valid drivers’ license
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
