Job Summary
Receive, select, and load materials; operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Verify order accuracy after packaging and loading, then provide basic customer service to internal and external clients. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders daily, maintain a clean work area, and perform daily safety checks on forklifts. Conduct basic maintenance on assigned motorized equipment and follow all safety procedures, including OSHA compliance. Move door slabs up to 50 pounds and pre-hung units up to 100 pounds using safe lifting practices in a high-traffic warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Able to move door slabs up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Able to handle pre-hung units up to 100 pounds
- Work in tandem using safe lifting practices
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with millwork
- Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN)
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
