Millwork Material Handler

Job Summary
Millwork Material Handler/Forklift Operator responsible for receiving, selecting and loading materials; operating forklift safely and efficiently; verifying order accuracy after packing and loading; providing basic internal and external customer service; collaborating with team members to fulfill orders; maintaining a clean work area; following OSHA-safety procedures; performing daily forklift safety checks and basic equipment maintenance; and performing additional duties as assigned in a high-traffic warehouse/production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Preferred: Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with millwork
- Experience with inventory control scanner (RFN)
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
- Physical: capable of moving heavy items (up to 50 pounds/23 kg) and handling up to 100 pounds/45 kg
- Team-oriented and safety-conscious
