Job Summary
Review architectural plans and specifications to accurately estimate materials, labor, and project costs. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and prepare detailed bid proposals. Monitor project budgets, provide regular cost updates, and resolve discrepancies in estimates. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects while staying current on industry trends and market pricing. Assist with scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers as needed. This full-time, permanent role requires a minimum of three years of experience in millwork and cabinetry estimating, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in estimating software.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating millwork and cabinetry projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
