Job Summary
Set up, operate, and adjust milled spar sanding machines tosand parts and achieve surface finishes per blueprints, work orders, and specifications; perform hand finishing touch-ups as needed; inspect spars for finish quality and report irregularities; read manufacturing plans and drawings to determine work requirements; coordinate with Planning, MR&D, QC, and Maintenance; load/unload parts and use cranes; maintain safety and housekeeping; must be onsite in Auburn, WA with US-Person export control compliance. Must have 1+ year experience reading blueprints, using hand tools, basic math, and operating computing equipment; HS diploma or GED preferred. Salary starts at $25.32/hour with potential to earn up to $54.76/hour under the collective bargaining agreement.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience reading engineering blueprints/drawings
- 1+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
- 1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- 1+ years of experience operating computing equipment to access job information (e.g., drawings, specifications and other online information systems)
- Able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
