Job Summary
Handle, lift, mix, bag, load, and move various raw materials and products manually using hand tools, hoists, and power equipment. Safely follow bagging procedures, pick and pack orders by placing up to 50 lb bags on pallets, and unload or load trucks. Accurately store products per company and government standards, assist in inventory tracking, and maintain warehouse, equipment, and pit areas through regular cleaning. Feed items onto processing equipment, remove attachments, and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Cross-train and move between areas as needed to support productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Experience safely operating forklift, lift trucks, dollies and other loading and moving equipment used in warehouse operations
- Warehouse experience at 1 year
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to do shift work seasonally
- Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying and loading up to 50 pound weight
- Ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop, push, pull and kneel frequently
- Flexibility to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time as well as climb stairs/ladders as needed
- Hand dexterity and strength
- Must be able to continuously climb and descend stairs safely utilizing hand rails
- Flexibility to perform multiple roles
- Positive attitude and ability to work well independently and as a team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift license a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
