Job Summary
Semi-skilled Mill Operator Trainee will support the Operations and Maintenance groups and be trained to operate industrial processing equipment safely. Responsibilities include area housekeeping (shoveling, using fire hose, digging), operation of processing equipment, assisting with maintenance activities, operation of mobile equipment, and other tasks as assigned. Requires three months of experience in Mining/Manufacturing/Industrial Operations/Commercial Construction/Commercial Landscaping/Commercial Agriculture; passing a required written assessment; and ability to understand and follow English safety instructions. Preferred qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED. This is a Full-time role with a 12-hour shift and a salary of $21.50-$23.75 per hour along with benefits such as 401(k), dental, health, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) months experience in Mining/Manufacturing/Industrial Operations/Commercial Construction/Commercial Landscaping/Commercial Agriculture
- Must have completed academic and practical competencies and pass written assessment as required
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, procedures, and safety standards
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
