Mill Operator Trainee

Operate overhead cranes, coil handlers, or forklifts to move coil from storage to machine area and thread in-coming coils through mill processes. Control mill components using manual and automatic controls, perform butt welds and grinds on strip ends, and execute routine mechanical maintenance and repairs. Conduct all required QA check measurements and record data per the Quality Manual. Complete and pass the Hel-Cor Mill Certification within one year of hire.
