Job Summary
Run batches of printing ink at proper mill settings, weigh and mix batches following SOPs, and discharge pigment while operating the mixer safely. Maintain Hockmeyer mills to optimum OEE standards, clean and maintain equipment to TPM requirements, and complete scheduled maintenance with troubleshooting procedures. Package finished product in various containers, apply labels, and assist with repacks. Act as a QC liaison by providing ink samples, making adjustments, and recording data. Operate press out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts. Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 months of related work experience
- Good math and basic computer skills
- Pay attention to detail
- Reliable to work assigned shift
- Flexible to work overtime as required
- Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
- Ability to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Post-offer, pre-employment drug screens
