Job Summary
Assist in various mill operations including housekeeping, maintenance, and repair. Participate in preventative maintenance by supporting mill maintenance personnel and operate equipment such as loaders and flakers when needed. Perform daily housekeeping duties to clean and organize millwork areas while complying with all applicable safety rules and policies. Wear required personal protective equipment including hardhats, eye, ear, and respiratory protection daily.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers
- Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent
