Job Summary
Milk Receiver responsible for maintaining the receiving log and associated paperwork, ensuring milk tankers meet regulatory standards via antibiotic testing, verifying paperwork and wash tags, keeping the receiving area clean, flushing the raw receiving line, following GMPs, changing tanker filters daily, safeguarding safety equipment, maintaining sanitation (hand wash station, master sanitation log), reporting equipment issues via maintenance work orders, verifying OJ concentrate specifications by checking brix, and ensuring proper installation and filling of recording charts. Must demonstrate teamwork, coaching/training abilities, and leadership capabilities to influence all levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Weighers and Samplers license
- valid Class C driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years transport/coordinating experience in manufacturing/food processing environment with a transportation division
- Must be a team player, enjoyment of coaching/training and troubleshooting
- Ability to lead, gain trust and influence all levels of the organization
