Job Summary
Milk Receiver operates the Milk Lab and Milk Unloading Bays to safely receive and load all fluid dairy products, perform antibiotic and quality tests on loads, run CIP/RT/CCP procedures, maintain the receiving log, and ensure product integrity. Responsibilities include sample collection and testing, sanitation and cleaning (master sanitation, CIP), transferring milk within the plant, operating RO/separators, monitoring equipment, and training new hires while adhering to SQF/QA, GMP, and safety policies. Requires maintaining accurate documentation, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced dairy production environment. Certifications and licenses related to testing and forklift operation are required or attainable, and English proficiency is required. The role may involve physical requirements such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- English language proficiency
- State of California licenses/certifications related to sampler/weigher and forklift
- Driver's license
