Job Summary
Unload raw milk products for storage, ship liquid products, and accumulate proper and accurate samples while maintaining all functions in a sanitary means. Operate pumps, lines, valves, and tanks; document all intake product and run necessary quality control tests including sight, smell, taste, and antibiotic checks. Maintain intake areas to meet Federal and State regulations, report equipment repairs, and follow Prairie Farms policies, procedures, and GMPs. Work independently with minimum supervision, lifting up to 100 pounds and standing for prolonged periods.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor sometimes under adverse conditions
- Must be able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in the English language
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Must be able to push, pull, and move up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds
