Job Summary
Develop standard work instructions for business reviews with dairy producers, milk haulers, and plant personnel by formalizing processes using PowerPoint decks. Conduct interviews with Grande Associates and attend on-farm meetings to gather insights on milk movement logistics, cream and whey sales, and farm-to-fork operations. Interact directly with stakeholders to strengthen business relationships and support dairy operations. Requires a driver's license, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a Bachelor's degree in an agricultural field. This program offers farm tours, facility visits, networking events with executives, and community volunteer opportunities within a company with 80 years of cheese leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Junior or Senior standing and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or a related agricultural field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to dairy farms and field locations.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dairy farm experience.
- Involvement in campus organizations, student groups, or extracricular activities.
- Volunteer experience outside of coursework.
- Previous work experience, including part-time or seasonal employment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through work, school, or community involvement
