Job Summary
Develop standard work instructions for business reviews with dairy producers, milk haulers, and plant personnel while formalizing the process using PowerPoint decks. Conduct short interviews with Grande Associates and interact with milk haulers to address issues affecting milk movement from farms to plants. Attend on-farm meetings with producers and gain understanding of cream and whey product sales, logistics, and business relationship strengthening. Requires junior or senior standing with a Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science or related field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license for travel. Includes farm tours, facility visits, and networking events with executives.
Required Qualifications
- Junior or Senior standing and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or a related agricultural field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to dairy farms and field locations
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dairy farm experience
- Involvement in campus organizations, student groups, or extracurricular activities
- Volunteer experience outside of coursework
- Previous work experience, including part-time or seasonal employment
- Demonstrated leadership skills through work, school, or community involvement
