Job Summary
Operate, monitor and optimise the day-to-day running of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to maintain effluent quality in line with environmental and legal standards. Analyse process performance data, support plant reliability through asset care and equipment checks, and contribute to root cause problem solving. Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation; work closely with production, engineering, and external contractors; identify and support continuous improvement opportunities; escalate risks or abnormalities in a timely manner. Requires experience in water or effluent treatment, understanding of process control and environmental compliance, and the ability to work independently within a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working within water treatment, effluent treatment, or utilities operations
- Strong understanding of process control, monitoring, and environmental compliance
- Ability to analyse data and respond proactively to changes in plant performance
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off (days and nights) shift pattern
