Job Summary
Milk Donor Coordinator (Permanent Part-Time, 22.80 hours/week) at Lifeblood’s Sydney Processing Centre. Responsible for cultivating strong relationships with breastmilk donors to ensure timely, efficient collection of donor milk and providing clinical leadership as a Registered Nurse to ensure donor care and product safety. Requires RN with AHPRA registration, lactation expertise, phlebotomy skills, a valid driver’s licence, and ability to conduct clinical assessments and work independently within a multidisciplinary team, with understanding of breastmilk supply/demand. Role involves visiting donors in homes or hospital settings; hours are Wednesday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with some flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and Annual License Certificate (no restrictions)
- Demonstrated lactation expertise
- Phlebotomy skills – experience with blood collection
- Current, unrestricted driver’s licence
- Ability to conduct clinical assessments and apply clinical knowledge in practice
- Proven ability to provide exceptional service
- Strong ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of breastmilk supply and demand issues
