Job Summary
Implement the military relations and business development plan to support credit union goals. Represent the institution at military installations, command events, and financial education sessions while building relationships with leadership and community stakeholders. Deliver onboarding support and one-on-one guidance to strengthen service members' financial readiness. Coordinate outreach events, briefings, and sponsorship activities, including occasional after-hours schedules. Serve as a resource to internal teams regarding military culture and command priorities. Track activities, member engagement, and outcomes to support reporting and continuous improvement. Research and resolve complaints affecting member service or the credit union's image. Provide monthly reports documenting results and budgetary expenditures. Assist branch managers with financial education sessions and group liaison activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Communications
- 2-5 years related experience in business development, sales, or community relations
- Working knowledge of financial industry products, services and industry trends
- Must possess a current and valid driver's license
- Commitment to member service, community engagement, and employee engagement
Desired Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of financial institution services, products, procedures, and lending
- Prior experience working with the United States Marine Corps
