Job Summary
Military Program/Project Operations Coordinator responsible for supporting the execution of a complex, multi-phase program. Serves as deputy to the Project Manager, handling logistics, program tasks, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder alignment across deliverables. Key duties include mission planning, contingency planning, operational coordination, field operations, testing, deployment support, sustainment, and development of CONOPs/TTPs/operational workflows. Interfaces with engineering teams to communicate operational constraints and priorities; plans and tracks program activities, risk/issue management, and progress reporting. Travel up to 50% with on-site work in Sterling, VA and overseas sites; strong emphasis on communication, documentation, and continuous improvement across military/tactical operations environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years in program coordination, project support, operations, or a similar role
- 5+ years’ experience supporting military or tactical operations
- Ability to travel to overseas test sites, customer locations, and exercises
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools (such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively, solve problems, and complete tasks with limited direction
- Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment
