Job Summary

Lead the standup and operations of a multidisciplinary team of planners, analysts, and technical experts leveraging advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis tools to shape Concept Exploration and Course of Action Analysis for the Department of War and U.S. Pacific Command. Establish and maintain effective relationships with government stakeholders and the National Capital Region parent organization while managing team priorities, tasking, and deliverable quality. Apply expert knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process to support operational planning, capability development, and analytical assessments, translating doctrine into actionable products for senior decision-making. Provide Blue Force expertise during studies and experiments while curating authoritative military doctrine within a collaborative knowledge management environment. This role requires a U.S. military Joint Qualified Officer with 16+ years of operational experience, based on-site in Hawaii with standard 40-hour work hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 16+ years of operational military experience
  • U.S. military Joint Qualified Officer (JQO) designation
  • Experience leading or supervising multidisciplinary operational planning, analytical, or technical teams
  • Direct experience executing the Joint Operational Planning Process for deliberate planning and developing concepts of operation and courses of action in support of Joint or Service Component Operational Planning efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small, high-performance team environment
  • Strong collaborative skills with experience working in expert-driven, multidisciplinary teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a STEM discipline
  • 18+ years of operational military experience
  • Extensive experience planning at a combatant command or service component command
  • Experience supporting analytical studies of military operations
  • Experience with military exercises or wargames
  • 2+ years of experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools
