Job Summary

Conduct non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach at installation Child Development Centers for children ages 0-5, school-aged youth, and teens. Visually observe, participate in, and coach staff and parents on behavior management while modeling techniques. Deliver presentations on social skills and emotional learning, promote creativity through approved materials, and assist families with transition adjustments like new schools or homes. Build rapport by attending community events and communicate installation trends to Team Leads. Respond to emergent situations across indoor and outdoor military installation locations, including rugged terrain and variable weather.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD)
  • Valid independent license in the mental health field from any US state or territory (LCSW, MHC, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist)
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to pass a basic background check for employment, a Child National Agency Check, and Inquiries (NACI/CNACI) clearance, commonly called a Public Trust clearance
