Military & Elite Athlete 2026 Talent Placement – People Operations Lead: 12-month fixed-term contract open to UK-wide applicants, hybrid work with occasional office travel to locations including Windsor, Cardiff, Leicester, Edinburgh, Stockport, Leeds, and North Lanarkshire. You’ll lead and deliver critical People Operations transformation aligned to the Future Operating Model, oversee Employee Relations processes and case management, and help establish a dedicated Investigations Team. The role combines transformation delivery, technology and process changes, and operational delivery across HR services, with a focus on standardisation, governance, automation, and data insight. The programme supports career transition for military service leavers and elite athletes, offering exposure to enterprise-level transformation, mentorship, flexible working, and opportunities to influence governance and colleague experience. The position emphasizes leadership in transformation, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate strategy into practical delivery in a high-accountability environment. A dedicated business mentor and senior leadership exposure accompany the placement, with potential to roll off into a permanent role.
