Job Summary
Military Education Coordinator at UMGC, based in Pearl City, HI, on-site with travel to other installations. Reports to the Assistant Director in the Office of Stateside Military Operations and collaborates with military education centers to serve prospective and current students, facilitate hybrid class offerings and testing services to military/veteran and civilian students. Responsibilities include face-to-face and virtual advising, administrative support, recruitment/retention outreach, and test proctoring; manage CRM systems (Salesforce, Peoplesoft, DMS); coordinate outreach projects and events (Military Open Houses, College/Academic Fairs); ensure marketing materials are current; provide base access coordination and ensure compliance with base requirements; track data for scheduling hybrid classes and proctoring; provide in-person coverage for testing services and academic advising; and attend local and national events. Requires travel to other installations, on-site work, and availability for evening/weekend hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- One (1) year of customer service experience, preferably in higher education
- Outstanding customer service skills with both internal and external customers
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to proficiently use MS Office Products
- Preferred: experience with higher education environment, military students, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Microsoft 365
