Job Summary
Mission Analysis team role supporting GE Aerospace SkillBridge partnership. Responsible for establishing and analyzing operating conditions for GE Aerospace products, producing files for performance, thermal, and stress models, assessing engine statistics for trends, and documenting field usage trends for Life Management decisions. Collaborates with External to GE Customers, Internal to GE Customers, Systems, Performance, and Controls to ensure engine operational intent is reflected for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and fielded operations. Develops representative mission profiles, identifies outliers, and recommends updates to LLP life limits. Advances state-of-the-art data processing and automation to improve efficiency and communications. Requires moderate autonomy with professional practices, teamwork, and ability to lead small projects. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to analyze problems, and experience with data analysis, coding (Python preferred), and cross-functional collaboration. Role requires the ability to obtain/maintain US Government security clearance if requested and status as a U.S. Person. Hybrid work environment with in-office Tuesdays–Thursdays; possible work-from-home on Mondays and/or Fridays. Office located in Evendale, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering from an accredited university
- Active Military personnel on their last 180 days of Military service
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering environment, preferably working with jet aircrafts, aeroderivatives, or jet engines
- Ability to acquire a US Government Security Clearance if requested; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship
