Job Summary
Military-connected Program Coordinator focusing on fostering belonging and promoting academic and personal achievement for veterans, service members, and their families. Develop and implement original programs, support existing initiatives, and collaborate with Centers for Student Success, Belonging Programs, and University Veteran Services. Responsibilities include generating and analyzing reports, managing logistics and resources for multiple programs, writing and publishing content for communications campaigns, organizing student-focused programming, planning and supporting initiatives that connect military-connected students to campus, and participating in weekly team meetings to strengthen collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working directly with college students
- Theoretical and practical understanding of student development and the complexity of social identities
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups from a variety of identities and communities
- Strong program planning, coordination, and organization skills
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and digital)
