Operating heavy milling equipment for asphalt or concrete surface removal, ensuring accurate depth and grade, monitoring machine performance, conducting routine maintenance, and adhering to safety standards. The role demands a high school diploma, and at least 2 years of experience with milling equipment, alongside effective communication and teamwork capabilities. CDL is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating milling equipment (e.g., Wirtgen, Roadtec, or similar)
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, project plans, and depth gauges
