Job Summary
Milieu Tech provides structure for the Partial Hospitalization Program, Transitional Intensive Outpatient Program, Evening Intensive Outpatient Program and Adolescent Program. Responsibilities include conducting psycho-educational groups, facilitating meals and meal processing, documenting progress, maintaining a therapeutic milieu, and supporting front-desk activities as needed. The role requires strong counseling skills, the ability to build therapeutic rapport, facilitates groups, maintains group curriculum, participates in staffing, ensures documentation accuracy for billing, and supports clinical operations and administrative tasks within a primarily inpatient/outpatient behavioral health setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health field required
- Minimum of six months experience working in therapeutic milieu preferred
- Clinical conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis preferred
- Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred
- Treatment orientation that align with that of EDC, LLC preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team with coworkers preferred
- Must be able to effectively maneuver within an office scheduling system
- Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system
