Job Summary
Milieu Manager leads daily operations of the Member Services Department at The Boston Living Center, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, overseeing intakes, data integrity, and coordination of health-related programs and referrals; collaborates with Clinical Director and Program Director on policy development; facilitates team meetings, training, and community events; supports health literacy initiatives and prevention interventions; provides crisis intervention as needed and maintains professional standards of ethics, confidentiality, and client care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of supervisory experience required.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational, writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding HIV/AIDS and the Principles of Harm Reduction.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in multicultural settings with diverse client groups.
- Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with diverse and disenfranchised populations in a community/milieu setting.
- Must be CPR certified (may be obtained upon hire)
- Completed TB screening (may be obtained upon hire)
- Three work related professional references; at least 2 from manager or supervisor.
