Job Summary
Conduct initial and ongoing screening of residents and property per unit procedures. Facilitate group counseling sessions professionally while documenting client progress. Supervise clients in self-medication under direct oversight. Manage the daily house schedule and overall client population supervision. Provide crisis interventions, document incidents, accidents, and elopement reports, and communicate pertinent information via the SAC communication log and incident reports. Coordinate transportation to appointments using agency vehicles. Act as a liaison to community-based service providers and navigate multiple service providers for each client. Work within an interdisciplinary treatment team focused on substance use and behavioral health disorders.
Required Qualifications
- CASAC-T; CASAC, or higher
- 1 year of experience working with clients with substance abuse disorders
- Commitment to providing quality services and outcome driven performance measures
- Excellent organizational and crisis management skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands
- Familiarity with treatment planning
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in an OASAS funded facility a plus
- Act as liaison to community-based service providers
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple service providers for each client
- Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to program planning
