Job Summary
Conduct patient care under Registered Nurse direction by assisting with Activities of Daily Living, leading therapeutic groups, performing safety checks, and holding 1:1 meetings. Accurately chart vital signs, blood pressure, temperature, and weight; document intake and output; and notify the RN of any changes. Maintain nutritional and hydration needs while monitoring assigned tasks. Work evening shifts (3pm–11:30pm) on a 40-hour week with end-of-week rotation and holidays as assigned. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for 32–40 hour positions. This role supports the Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, serving youth ages 3–17 with behavioral health and neuro-developmental disorders.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must successfully complete a job specific physical test
Desired Qualifications
- B.A, B.S., or M.A.
- Prior inpatient human services, behavioral or psychiatric experience
- Neurodevelopment experience
