Job Summary
Conduct activities of daily living, lead therapeutic groups, perform safety checks, and document patient vitals, intake, and output under registered nurse supervision. Assist patients with nutritional and hydration needs while maintaining a safe, structured environment for children and adolescents in the new Somerville inpatient center. Provide 1:1 crisis meetings and monitor patient needs throughout evening shifts, rotating weekends and holidays as assigned. Complete a job-specific physical test upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must successfully complete a job specific physical test
Desired Qualifications
- B.A, B.S., or M.A.
- Equivalent years of human service experience
- Prior inpatient human services, behavioral or psychiatric experience
- Neurodevelopment experience
