Milieu Counselor - Adolescent Psychiatry, 24 Hrs/wk, Nights

Conduct safety checks, lead or co-lead ADL groups, and perform 1:1 meetings with patients in the secured adolescent psychiatric unit. Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, laundry, and toileting while monitoring nutritional and hydration needs. Accurately chart vital signs, intake, and output, notifying the registered nurse of any changes. Complete a job-specific physical test and maintain a safe, structured environment under RN supervision. Work nights (11pm-7:30am) with every-other weekend rotation and holiday coverage. Join a multidisciplinary team focused on de-escalation and restraint reduction at the new Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in Somerville.
