Job Summary
Facilitates curriculum-based groups; provides meal monitoring and meal support; milieu support, de-escalation and behavior coaching to patients in Inpatient/Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs. May conduct self-harm and suicide assessments, support morning routines, and collect weights, vitals, and urine in some settings. Implements individual behavior management plans and serves as clinical lead for the program in evenings and weekends, leading more advanced groups (MC II). MC I requires a Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field with 6 months of related experience; MC II requires a Bachelor's degree with 18 months of related experience (master’s degree may waive this). Graduate degree in mental health or related field and intern/associate license are preferred. On-call shifts may be required based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Required)
- Minimum 6 months of experience in behavioral health or related field (Required)
- Minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (Required-waived with relevant master's degree)
- Graduate degree in mental health or related degree program (Preferred)
- Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (Preferred)
- 1+ year facilitating groups (Preferred)
