Job Summary
Monitor shift change activities to assign staff and adjust staffing levels as necessary. Facilitate and monitor patient care, programming, admissions, discharges, and transfers while reviewing medical records for timely documentation. Train and mentor direct care staff during shifts and audit individual records to ensure regulatory compliance. Respond to individuals, families, and guardians regarding concerns and report pertinent information to the Milieu Manager. Perform direct care duties as required and resolve patient complaints with a focus on safety. Requires high school diploma or associates degree with behavioral health experience; CPR and de-escalation certification mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years' experience in a behavioral health environment
- Associates Degree in a human service field with two or more years' experience in a behavioral health environment
- Two or more years' experience with the population of the facility
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification
