Job Summary
MILES Engineer to provide Contracted Logistic Support (CLS) and Exercise Support (ES) at the Georgia Combat Training Center (CTC) program, based at JTEC in Tbilisi, Georgia. Responsibilities include assisting the MILES Supervisor, providing user support including battery charge and urgent problem repair during field exercises, performing Level III maintenance of MILES hardware/software, troubleshooting and repairing fielded hardware/software, packing/shipping/customs clearing and tracking of non-functional hardware, providing refresher training on hardware/software, supporting exercises, maintaining accurate records of fielded hardware/software, performing repairs/maintenance per the System Maintenance Manual, and preparing/delivering monthly maintenance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Possess practical knowledge and technical skills to train personnel to install and operate MILES equipment for individuals and vehicles
- Versed in military training and exercise support
- Experience conducting the same and/or similar duties as those outlined in this job announcement
- Must complete all required contract training
- Clearance: Requires a background check and Georgia MOD approval
- Location: Tbilisi, Georgia
- Travel: OCONUS travel will be required
