Migrant Education Recruiter - Student Support Specialist - Parent Involvement Specialist

Identify, recruit, and enroll eligible migrant children and out-of-school youth in accordance with the Migrant Education state and local site recruitment plan; work with schools and service agencies to advocate for and assist students in developing educational competencies; provide instructional support and intervention for students in schools, homes, and service agencies; translate/interpreter support as needed; coordinate and facilitate parent involvement activities and meetings; maintain records and reports of program activities; travel to employers, schools, migrant families, and agencies; support summer enrichment activities for migrant children; communicate with stakeholders and funding agents to ensure program goals are met; bilingual ability (Spanish or Creole) preferred.
